Here's a quick test for you:
Close your eyes and imagine yourself on a deserted island, completely alone and stripped of all the roles you currently have:
It's just you and the universe and God.
On a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate yourself---where 1 is totally worthless, and 10 being a perfect spiritual being, created in the image of God.
Here is a wonderful quote by author Marianne Williamson from her book A Return to Love:
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you . We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
I hope this inspires you to become a Perfect 10 in your own eyes!

Dreams vs Reality---Can They Co-Exist for Women?
What would it mean to you to turn a dream into reality?
When I speak of a dream, I mean something wonderful, not a nightmare!
When a woman dares to actually dream, and pour herself into the fulfillment of a dream, she creates a better, more beautiful world for everyone, including her family.
A dream comes from the heart, and often completely goes against what most people would call "Common Sense." It comes from your higher self---the part of you still connected to your Source, where everything is possible. Facts and present circumstances don't matter here. It's the land of infinite possibilities, where miracles occur on a regular basis.
Most of us are told to give up our fantasies and dreams of childhood. "You're in the real world now, so you need to get serious about practical things like earning a living, caring for your children, volunteering at church, and trying to grab a bit of time at the gym to keep your body from wearing out too soon!"
Welcome to life! But is this really life? Is it really living, or is it merely surviving, while trying to snatch a bit of pleasure here and there as we rush from one responsibility to the next?
Who are you? What are the possibilities for life beyond all the roles you play?
To be continued...

Bringing Your Life Into Harmony With Your Dreams
When life isn't going exactly the way we'd like it to, most of us begin searching for reasons and circumstances outside of ourselves to either fix it or blame something or someone. We try to change behaviors or actions rather than looking inward to make an "internal adjustment."
To change from the inside out, one must begin to have a conscious understanding of the spirit within---Life itself, God, Infinite Intelligence, Universal Power---whatever you choose to call it. Once you really grasp the reality of your connection with this power, the way you perceive your life changes, and you become a powerful manifestor of what you would really like to create.
There are three elements which must be brought into agreement or harmony in order for the desired changes to occur:
1) Your world (this includes your beliefs, thoughts, habits, friends, words, what you choose to read and watch, etc.)
2) Your relationship to Spirit or Source
3) Your dreams or goals
Begin to identify the areas where you sense "static" in your life, and become aware of the things you're doing now which aren't truly in harmony with what you want.
When these three elements start working in harmony, you'll know you're now living in the "Natural Order" of your being. Everything you do will be on purpose and you'll be advancing confidently in the direction of your dreams.

How Is Your Vibration Today?
I'm learning to ask myself that question every day, and thereby become more aware of my inner dialogue taking place. I've found that my outer persona isn't always congruent with what I'm really feeling on the inside---and whether I care to admit it or not, it's my feelings that create my vibration, which in turn, will attract into my life any other vibrations on that same frequency.
So, if I'm not happy with what's going on in my life at the moment, only I have the power to change that, by changing my vibration!
How do I change my vibration?
One method is to recall something in my past that excited or thrilled me, and filled me with joy, and spend a moment reliving that feeling, and allowing it to wash over me and override whatever the negative feeling was---perhaps anxiety, fear, or envy.
I'm working on creating a "treasure chest" of memories, or ideas that will very quickly elicit positive feelings when I've allowed my circumstances or other people to temporarily distract me from what I want to create in my life.
